WELCOME!
I'm a UX researcher, problem-solver and storyteller. I believe the most interesting stories are the complex ones that require creativity and empathy in the creation process.
On my journey to be a great storyteller, I
completed
a doctoral degree in Sociology from
University of Virginia
;
learned
about Internet Research from
Oxford Internet Institute
;
shared
my cross-cultural experience at
CORE
;
taught
interdisciplinary courses;
practiced
my skills as
a research fellow at the
Center for Technology, Society & Policy
, UC-Berkeley;
conducted
user research for startups in SF Bay Area;
presented
research insights at
international conferences
;
published
research findings as
journal articles
and
book chapters
and
served
as the managing editor of
the Communication Review
.
I'm currently working with
Google News Lab
to design tools and products used by journalists and publishers.
When I am not behind a screen, you can find me in zumba moves, getting myself lost in the woods, experimenting with food and learning new things.
