WELCOME!

I'm a UX researcher, problem-solver and storyteller. I believe the most interesting stories are the complex ones that require creativity and empathy in the creation process.

On my journey to be a great storyteller, I completed a doctoral degree in Sociology from University of Virginia;
learned about Internet Research from Oxford Internet Institute;
shared my cross-cultural experience at CORE;
taught interdisciplinary courses;
practiced my skills as
a research fellow at the Center for Technology, Society & Policy, UC-Berkeley;
conducted user research for startups in SF Bay Area;
presented research insights at international conferences;
published research findings as journal articles and book chapters

and served as the managing editor of the Communication Review.

I'm currently working with Google News Lab to design tools and products used by journalists and publishers.

When I am not behind a screen, you can find me in zumba moves, getting myself lost in the woods, experimenting with food and learning new things.
